How It All Started

This shop grew out of my travels and research in Tibet, where I became deeply inspired by the artistry of local craftspeople and the spiritual traditions woven into their work. What began as a personal collection of incense, jewelry, and wooden carvings gradually turned into a mission: to share authentic Tibetan craftsmanship with a wider community while supporting the artisans who keep these traditions alive. Each piece offered here carries not only material beauty but also the stories, rituals, and resilience of the culture that created it.

From Story to Craft

Behind each bracelet lay the story of a family passing down skills through generations. Behind each jar of incense was the rhythm of hands grinding herbs at dawn, prayers whispered into smoke that rises toward the mountains.

These moments could not stay hidden in markets and storerooms. They asked to be seen, to be heard. That calling became the heart of our documentary: a journey into workshops and villages where art and survival are one, and where each crafted object holds a memory, a prayer, a future. By stepping into this film, you step into those stories — and carry them forward.

This documentary traces the journey of Tibetan artisans whose crafts — from incense-making to beadwork and woodcarving — embody both daily life and spiritual devotion. Filmed on-site in workshops and mountain villages, it captures not just the objects but the gestures, rhythms, and philosophies behind their creation. At its core, the film is about resilience and continuity: how art becomes a form of survival, memory, and connection in a rapidly changing world.

We are committed to ethical sourcing.

Every piece in this collection is sourced directly from Tibetan artisans and small workshops, ensuring that the people who create these works are recognized and fairly compensated. We believe that cultural heritage should never be exploited or reduced to commodity. By choosing fair trade practices, we not only honor the skill and labor behind each craft but also help sustain the communities and traditions that keep these art forms alive.
